Daily Divine Note

Movement is a fundamental aspect of life. It is more than just 'exercise' and does not necessarily require effort, though it does require action.

Movement affects everything, from circulation to digestion to metabolism to immunity. With movement, our bodies regulate hormone activity, supplies brain cells with oxygen, promotes the production of new brain cells, and aids in creating new synapses, amongst other things.

Find new and exciting ways to give your body a boost of movement. Parking further away from the shop, taking the stairs, not the lift, walking a friend’s dog, take up a new hobby that gets you out, join in with your children in the park, when sitting lift arm weights, buy yourself a mini-trampoline, or just walk around your home one extra time before sitting down.

Keep it fun, fresh, make healthy choices and keep doing it.
